The Economic Development Council for Sonora helps companies set up operations in Mexico, promotes export development and supports newly arrived companies to ensure their set up is as easy as possible. Professional staff guides you through the site selection, incorporation and licensing processes, as well as helping find homes, schools, and services for the executive families new to Sonora. It is comprised by a board of leading Business Executives and Government Officials to promote Sonora's Economic Development, for quality job creation. SonoraSoft is Sonora's initiative to develop an internationally competitive software industry by coordinating the efforts of universities, local IT industry and government. Together with the Federal Program for the Development of the Software Industry (PROSOFT), IT firms established in Mexico can receive cash grants of up to 50% of the total cost of their project through this initiative.
