Tempe, Arizona, April 6, 2011 —Tiempo Development, a leader of nearshore software development, today announced the opening of a new facility in Monterrey, State of Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Tiempo has been operating in Mexico for over 5 years and currently employs over 120 staff locally and the US. With this new addition, Tiempo will further strengthen its presence in the nearshore market and tap the rich local talent.
The Monterrey development center, located in a state of the art building with first class infrastructure, will be dedicated to Software Development Services and Business Process Outsourcing. It is strategically located in the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer (CIT2) , the portal to Tec de Monterrey pool of talent, resources and regional business networking capabilities.
And there is more talent around: the city has 93 colleges and universities to draw talent from. The state has the highest level of education in the country: about 52,000 students have an engineering or technological degree from one of the schools or universities and 5,000 engineers graduate every year –which makes the region one of the top pool of technical talent in Mexico.
