University Partners

Sonora, the border state to Arizona in Northwest Mexico, has acclaimed technical schools such as the Instituto Tecnológico de Hermosillo that creates talented and eager technology graduates.

Tecnológico de Monterrey

The Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (Tec de Monterrey), was founded 1943 by a group of successful Mexican entrepreneurs. Currently, there are 33 campuses around the country that make up the Tecnológico de Monterrey Education System. Specifically, the Monterrey Campus has received both national and international recognition for providing 64 years of academic excellence to its students.

MexicoIT is an initiative executed by the National Chamber of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information technologies (CANIETI), an industry association of leading IT companies in Mexico, and is supported by the Mexican Ministry of Economy through the Program for the Development of the Software Industry (PROSOFT).

The Economic Development Council for Sonora

The Economic Development Council for Sonora helps companies set up operations in Mexico, promotes export development and supports newly arrived companies to ensure their set up is as easy as possible. Professional staff guides you through the site selection, incorporation and licensing processes, as well as helping find homes, schools, and services for the executive families new to Sonora.

SonoraSoft

SonoraSoft develops internationally-competitive software industry in Sonora by coordinating the efforts of universities, local IT industry and government. Together with the Federal Program for the Development of the Software Industry (PROSOFT), IT firms established in Mexico can receive cash grants of up to 50% of the total cost of their project through this initiative.

Mexico-Arizona Commission

The Arizona-Mexico Commission (AMC) is cross-border nonprofit organization with 13 binational committees that act as industry and community advocates in partnership with the Comisión Sonora-Arizona (from Sonora, Mexico) to facilitate cross-border trade, business and community networking and binational information sharing.
